This includes transit buses and school buses as cargo buses and shuttles. EV Star is a zero-emission vehicle that has a high degree of customisation. It's also FTA certified and Buy America compliant. It comes with a world-class range and ADA wheelchair-friendly features. It also offers cargo delivery setups. EV Star GreenPower Motor Company manufactures a complete line of heavy and medium-duty electric vehicles, which include models with lower and high floors. The EV Star Cab & Chassis is their flagship vehicle, and it can be customized to meet a variety of applications. The platform's design is based on a simple sheet of paper, which allows for the best placement of the battery pack and a lower center of gravity. This results in better payload/range ratios. The EV Star REEFERX was developed for mid-to-last mile refrigerated deliveries as well as catering applications. The refrigerated trucks in class 4 with a single wall structure inside and a higher insulation level than conventional trucks, allows for seamless sanitation and better temperature control. They also have a longer lifespan. The EV Star REEFERX offers superior cargo capacity, and an industry-leading payload to reach the range of zero-emission goods or passenger transportation. GreenPower joined forces with Perrone Robotics in order to equip the EV Star with TONY (To navigate you) autonomous vehicle systems that will allow fleets to transition to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star can also be wirelessly charging up to 75 kW. We had the chance to test the EV9 for a few hours on a local freeway, and found it easy to drive and comfortable for long distances. The EV9 can be used to block road noise and wind while on the highway. It glides effortlessly over bumps and ruts. The acceleration is extremely fast and the car has adjustable regenerative braking that allows “one pedal driving” by lifting off of the accelerator. The EV9 has excellent range and can be fully recharged in just three hours at home, or with any commercial charger. The driver has the option of choosing between two operating modes: eco mode and sport mode. Eco mode is a great way to increase the power and cruise control, as well as handling, while sport mode increases speed. electric wheel scooter are fun to drive and provide a unique driving experience for anyone that has never been in an electric vehicle before. GreenPower provides a variety of other EVs, including a multipurpose all-electric minibus, called the EV Star. The EV Star is ADA-compliant and can be used as executive shuttles, transit or microtransit buses, vanpools, or paratransit vehicles. GreenPower produces around 10 EV Star busses a month for the Jacksonville Transit Authority. The Jacksonville Transit Authority is replacing their fleet of diesel vehicles with 100 electric vehicles. GreenPower will increase production to meet the demand of the Biden Administration which wants to electrify all school buses in America. Their EV Star bus is the first of its kind to be Altoona-tested and FMVSS-certified. Buy America compliant and ADA conforming. This means they'll be eligible for federal assistance in transit.
